Please try and consentrate on portraits. You really do them well. Stop trying to do a painting or two in a day! It takes lots of time and energy to create. You need to set aside more time, then two hours, to paint. Take a day then paint a portrait, start with acrylics, but go for oils!!! So, "user friendly." You can do your base portrait in acrylics then go over with oils. Study with area teachers..try "David Fairrington" on Tuesday 9-12 am at the Cherry Valley sr. center on Beaumont. I think he still charges $20.00. You will really learn a great deal from him regarding portraits...he does teach other subjects too. Stick with it!!!
